Who votes for them then as Best Independent Audi Retailer in Audi Driver awards then?
I suppose they don't have much competition and do place a lot of ads in the mag..

Quite surprised by the comments about Fontain, I've had dealings with them in the past and bought two cars from them. Suppose I may of been lucky but they defintely didn't come as across as a 'cant be bothered company'

I had a pretty bad experience with Fontain. It was enough to stop me going there and possibly buying an S4 they had in stock.

The guy on the phone was so abrupt & disinterested I decided immediately to not bother going there, even though they are about 5 minutes down the road from me.

I got the impression he just couldn't be bothered to talk to me, and wasn't interested in me as a potential customer whatsoever.

It seems this guy loses Fontains a lot of business, judging by my experience and the other posts in this thread.

My dealings with fontain couldn't have been more different. I've dealt with two different salesman there and found them both polite and knowledgeable. I've bought many toys over the years and found their approach straight forward which I prefer rather than all the flannel and bullshit that you normally get from salesman.

I'm actually visiting their service dept next month so I'll let you know how I get on. :)

Have to agree with RS4Virgin regarding Fontain. I nearly bought their Goodwood RS4 about 10 days ago and only decided against it because a friend offered me his at a 'Can't refuse it' price. He bought it there 2 years ago and has serviced with them ever since. I did have a good look around over several weeks though but found Fontains polite and honest approach refreshing. On visiting them I was very impressed by their dealership, packed with RS models and even an R8. The RS4 itself was very tidy with an immaculate interior, the best I saw apart from my friends. They would'nt offer me a discount explaining that the car was already competitively priced in the market but they did offer to fully service it on either Long life or fixed and replace the cambelt and associated parts if I bought. Seeing that Fontain are dedicated Audi specialists that was adding real value to the deal and I did'nt see another RS4 offering such quality and value for the price. :D

I guess you take them as you find them. Good to get a balanced view and see that they are not all bad. Maybe those with negative opinions have all been subjected to the same salesman...
