I will try that:

Pressure drop:
With these intercoolers, your turbochargers has to produce less pressure to have the same pressure as before (with oem-intercoolers) in the intake mainfold.

Cooler IAT:
Based on basic constitiunal laws you will have a higher densitiy of your intake air the cooler it is. higher density = more oxygen = more horsepower.

This is all very encouraging, and not wanting to put words in TopBears mouth, but I think he wants some statistics, i.e. comparitive figures between a stock car and one with your SMIC's on.

We made the IAT-temperature-test today and I have the results now. I will put them in a excel-chart and publish today in a few hours. We had today an outside temperature of about 30 degrees C. Perfect for that test.

Ok, we are moving forward...

here is a Test what Martin did today on the German Autobahn. He was logging the intercooler Temperatures. On the Driverside with the OEM and Passenger Side with our Intercooler. No Fog Ligths.

Outside Temperature 30°C

and here a Comparison between the 2 Intercoolers at the same car...

...gooood!

The left side intercooler (-> OEM) has a better front air flow (no oil hoses) than the right side one (Wagner), so the test is better.

Do you sell carbon fiber air ducts for oem IC?

Thats not easy to say, it always depense on the current setup. On the RS4 you can roughly say 1°C = 1HP. But depense on the Programing it can be more, if the Motronik goes into the FailSafe Mode. That can happen when the Intake Temp. is going up...

Today with 24 degrees celsius, we logged the IAT with VAG-Com.

The testcar had IAT of about 75-80 degrees celsius on that outside temperature.

For that test (on german autobahn) we start in 5th gear speed on 2'000 1/min engine speed. Kick-down until 7'100 1/min.

The big failure on the OEM-intercoolers is the big pressure drop when you press a huge airvolume through them.
This result in higher output temperatures on the turbochargers. So the OEM-intercoolers w'ont be able to cool down such high temperatures.

With this intercoolers you decrease the air temperature and the pressure out of the turbocharger.
Simulantenously you enhance torque.

Try and measure it :!:

Looks impressive Martin. Can you just confirm for me, is this one set of data taken with the car with both OEM SMIC's in place against another set of data taken from the same car with both of the Wagner SMIC's in place, all logged via block 118?

Yes Mike. That's right.
But I took block 004 on VAG-Com.
