Hi to everyone on here,

I would imagine some of you guys and gals may have seen my new black RS4 on pistonheads last week.

My name is Dave and Im 26 and have wanted a RS4 for six years, and finally have been able to get one, and managed to find my favorite colour combo: Solid Black/Grey.

Beautiful condition, however has 84000k but with 9 stamps and fantastic condition, for the price and not wanting to lose 4k straight away by buying from Nick Johnson [ i was tempted by S200 MAC a year or so ago in Scotland ] I think Its still a good price from an independant.

Will get some pic up soon!!

If anyone knows anyone who would be interested in a 1996 850R Saloon Manual [ have owned since 2001 ] with 78000k on the clock let me know!

Hope to speak to you all soon

Dave

Hi Dave and welcome. Congratulations on realising your dream! It's still listed on pistonheads - looks great. I do have a soft spot for that interior...

Do you have anything planned for it or are you keeping it standard?

Hi Grizz/Ash. I really want to keep the car standard. Plus my insurance company might not be too happy with changes!!

Hi Dave and welcome too
Bought mine at 25 only 6 months ago, after wanting one for 6 years too

Keep it standard for a while at least, to enjoy it (mine still is and probably will be for a long long time) but I think the ARB mod is a must (which I'm planning on doing in the next month or so)

After reading a few posts, I am concerned about the oil cooler hose corrosion issues.

How can I check my car [ If possible ] and if not who is the best for services??

Audi or peformance specialist such as mrc??

If you can get access to a ramp, or either lift the front up, then you need to remove the engine undertray/cover, and have a look at the hose on the RHS of the car, near the oil cooler union to see if there is any corrosion around there, or the pipe itself.

Hope that makes sense
