Did you not do a side by side run with both of your cars?

Nope. However there is a private test hill near where I live which has a roundabout at the bottom and then goes into single carriageway at the top with a stretch of dual lanes for about 500 yards up a reasonably steep hill. My test for this hill is approach off the roundabout in 2nd gear and when your straight go WOT. My S4 would do 110mph at the top of this private test track whereas the RS4 is doing 125mph (previously it was 115mph). For reference my 944 Turbo was 100 and my UK Impreza was 95ish. Highly un-scientific but what the hell.

Great News. Looking forward to the dyno figures. Sounds like a great car.

Could this be true of any map? My car was running rich at high revs and I can't find any fault with the car.

Would resetting the ECU cure this (until it adapts again)?

Simple answer is I don't know. I thought at the time Mihnea was being nice to MTM because if this is correct what is to stop any map being degraded over time. Best ask MRC ....

I will try resetting my ECU before the next rolling road day. What's the best way to reset the ECU adaption?

Oh, good the hear the hedge is performing well ;)

It's even faster now?

Damn. That makes it more difficult for me to figure out what sort of power I want from my car. I thought I knew before.
