MRC Remap

My car allegedly has an MRC remap. How can you tell?
The exhaust is standard and I don't want to change it.
It struggles to get to peak revs in 4th and hesitates, particularly when its hot.

Does MRC have a rolling road?

Get it hooked up to a laptop running VAGcom software and get the fault codes out of it!

Loggie, do you know the name of the previous owner(s)? PM me and we'll try to find out if it does really have one of our remaps, I guess by now there could be a few fakes around, especially with the amount of people that copy chips here and there...
