I have an MRC custom remap, quattro gmbh suspension, RS6 brakes at front and run road legal slicks.
What can I do to find another 4 secs around Silverstone? Please resist the temptation to say, get a new driver.
Are there any mods I can do to the suspension without changing the whole setup?

Get the driver to have lessons - best value for money I ever had!
You will easily knock 4 seconds possibly 10 off after two or three hours personal "one to one" tuition

You could go a bit radical and start stripping the car out to shed the excess kilos (dare I say that could apply to the driver too?). Weight is the acceleration killer and also more braking effort required with more weight.
Then there is the time honoured one of laying the back seats flat!
One to one tuition is a good idea. There was a Top Gear episode with Jackie Stewart and James May (I think) when, over the course of a day, he shaved something like 20 or 30 seconds off his lap time at a track.

Its easy to shave 20/30 seconds when you are <beep>!
Justin - why 4 seconds?
Look at the lap times on the GP bikes, the first 10 are within less than a second!
Have you looked into tyre pressures and followed someones lines who is quicker than you?
Dave
PS Back seats flat is sweet

I'd definitely go the training route - having done so on the bikes some years back [California Superbike School] I learn't stuff that has improved many aspects of my riding on [and off] track and now instead of constantly feeling that I'm on the 'ragged edge' and struggling to find time by simply out-braking everyone and anyone where possible, I'm far more relaxed on the bike throughout the whole lap now and just through that I'm much quicker than I ever was
I was going to be racing a Caterham in the academy this year but ended up not being able to (for various work reasons) but I have done a few trackdays with them in the past and one thing they did say that you can hire a pretty top driver for one on one tuition [as they do] for what is not a whole lot of money for the day (I had Philip Glew last time out - Formula BMW, and James Auld the time before) - just a thought (something I am looking to do at some point and that's the tuition route I am thinking of)

blackb1ade shame about the academy, is a great way to get into motorsport (cheap compared to most).
I did it in 2003 and then just went on to spend more and more money each year racing until last year I did the Caterham CSR championship all over europe (and won).
Im new to the forum, only came across it when trying to research RS4 as have family on the way so two seater soft top has to go so can’t comment on RS4 mods.
Id agree with the rest that are saying about coaching, even if you are quick it is surprising how much time you maybe able to find and the bit that some times does not make sense is you can find the time by not pushing so hard which is what most of us try to do to go faster. If you are talking about GP track then 4 seconds should be gained easily due to the length of some of the straights i.e a little improvement through a corner will give you big gains in the straight.
If you are interested in some coaching let me know as depending when you want it I would be happy to do some or I can put you in contact with someone who is very good (coached me).
Just in case this sound a bit big headed it is not meant to and sorry JustinM im not trying to put your driving down mate.
