Turbo problem need your help

Post by hataw » Fri Aug 04, 2006 9:13 pm

firdt I am from the philippines and i was driving the est going around 270. When all sudden lost all power. I figuered it was the turbo not sure which one but one of them. As i got home i saw smoke coming from the exhaust. and it smelled like burning oil. Saw i knew it was the turbo. But so far I have not check which of the turbo gave in.

Now my problem I am looking for a set of turbos can any one give me a idea where i can get of if who has a set of turbos. The best is if it is in UK as I have a shipping company that can take care of shipping it to me in the Philippines. so the seller does not have to worry about shipping it here it just has to be shiped to a London address . and lastly i need to find a set that is used or new but cheap

Please guys any one in this forum help me

If one of the turbo is out of order, you better to get a pair of new ones: contact MTM or AMD , MRC or buy them from Audi it is the more simple really.

Good luck.

Lengster1

problem is this unit was imported by grey market and not by the dealer and the only one here in the Philippines so there is no parts at all here so has to be imported by the dealer so that makes it more expensive then on top of that i dont have warrenty on it so even if i did the dealer wont honor the warrenty as it was not purchased from the dealer but imported by grey market so this will cost me a arm and a leg so my only way to save is to find a used turbos two of them that some one is selling at a resoonable price that i can afford or just have it repaired found in the states a shop that sellls the internals of the ko4 but aslong as the inside was not damaged this is there site what do you guys think of this give me your opinion http://www.gpopshop.com/kkkkits.html
