I was wondering if I should upgrade my standard leather steering wheel and knob to black alcantara ones... what do you guys think - is it a good upgrade?
Maybe you could post some pics of your alcantara wheels?
Thanks

RE: Alcantara steering wheel and knob...
they feel great when new - but quickly go lumpy and dirty... maybe its just my sweaty hands?
RE: Alcantara steering wheel and knob...
just changed my leather wheel for alcantara. Its deffo better, slightly thicker and better to grip, I think it looks better in the car aswell.
I found the leather one to be too slippery !

Not just your sticky hands... mine has done the same, but still feels better than the leather item.duncanhancox wrote:they feel great when new - but quickly go lumpy and dirty... maybe its just my sweaty hands?

I used to own an M3 CSL and had exactly the same problem. I think the definitive answer was to wear some gloves whilst driving (pref, not string backed one's).
