to be honest ive seen a few B7,s on the rd now but this 53 bit on the plate hit me bang in the face..oh well who know,s what thats all about..maybe he got a good deal on it and they aint changed his plate for an 06..

or its to put the potential of a car jack/theft off..they mite look at the plate and think its a rebadge as a RS4... good tactic really..

exactly mate bet he was wonderin what the hell was goin on when you approached and got him to open the bonnet to prove it his cover was well and truly blown then

he did it a few years ago and got a audi dealer to do it, just my luck!!

Alan, the only thing an Audi dealer ever did with my RS4 was ask me to bring him for a spin in it!!
The only person to leave a spanner to one of my cars is me.

Early or late S4 towbar doesnt make any difference, I ordered mine from Agnews in N.Ireland( Not Audi Ireland) and it was a piece of piss to fit.
