C7 residual values holding up

Agree furlough is a key milestone. Hard to predict where we’ll be, with the third wave coming we’re in an experiment to see where vaccination has got us. If we keep folk out of hospital then some of those jobs will return.

Re: C7 residual values holding up

All about availability. Look at Pork or Ferrari or Lambo. There’s little stock to go at. As soon as new supply returns and/or the arsehole falls out of the economy then values will find their real level. It’s transient pricing right now.

*Wanted* C6 RS6 late 09 facelift

Date of release was earlier, late 2008. My facelift C6 was on a 58 plate.

There were other cosmetic changes, rear lights amongst them. You’ll find the detail on here if you wade through.

Bramley premium!

It’s a nice place, have some mega cars. Very neatly bought an F12 from them, then covid happened. In hindsight should’ve bought it anyway.

Off to brown town. I cannot get on with the interior colour. Jury out on the exterior.

Re: Porsche sweet spot?

Such is demand that unless you’re looking to buy a specific car there’s little in it for them. Used stock is low and turning around before advertised. Right now, either play the game on offer or wait until the tide turns.

If I had to have an EV, at this point it’d be Taycan.

However, I prefer turning petrol into noise.

Re: RS6 performance

Couple of reasons, firstly, I have a 911 Turbo S shaped itch I need to scratch, and having waited patiently for a year that day is nearly here! Secondly, I have realized that 99% of the time, its just me in the car, so do I need something quite so big. My wife has a big family wagon, so I'm going t...
