There is a headlight leveling sensor on the left lower arm. Its secured with a spring clamp which will probably be rusty.And the big bolt that secures the diveshaft into the hub. Whilst you are in there check your cv boots and replace at the slightest sign of cracking .

BTW the Ghost is available on the B7 platform now but only a few selected authorised installers will do it .

WoW !! .Well done for having an indepth look into this . Does this BCM control the rear number plate lights from here aswell ? They seem to cause issues too when swapping to Leds bulbs . WoW !! .Well done for having an indepth look into this . Does this BCM control the rear number plate lights from here aswell ?

Replaced all mine with lemforder. Just for info the top arms are longer on a RS4 compared to a normal A4.

The silver bit does come apart but you are highly likely to break the plastic tabs that hold the two pieces together.
Perhaps it is one of those tabs that have broken off and rattling around ?
