Re: RS4 B8 service recommendations Herts / Essex

Yes that's them. Sorry they've changed names to try and attract non Porsche people. They do all my cars. Just had my A6 done. 500 instead of 1200 as quoted by Audi Stansted. Your gearbox and rear diff was due a very important oil and filter change at 38k. If you have any questions on the car drop me...

Re: RS4 B8 service recommendations Herts / Essex

Oh and sorry you are in for quite a chunk of work. Oil and filter then pollen filter and front final drive are every 20k and plugs and air filter are 60k. Brake fluid is 3 years.

I assume it's had the gearbox done at 40k before you bought it?

Re: RS4 B8 service recommendations Herts / Essex

Hello. I'm from Stortford had nothing but trouble with Stansted Audi. They physically damaged by RS4 3 times. I would recommend Porsche dynamics. They are well known in the Audi world, especially on C6 RS6 V10 work.

Re: RS4 brake disc life

My original set lasted about 22k. Second set were nearly done at 38k (80% worn)

Re: Deano's B8 RS4

Wow I’ve been away from here for too long! Can’t believe you sold up deano! How’s the house though? Any regrets? I’ve been toying with the idea of moving on too. The other option is to try and get the steering to be more direct and maybe play with the suspension. But it is the fastest Christmas tre...

I don’t think it’s a bad looking car, might jump in one once they do the normal FL thing.
They didn't with the b8 did they?
No but that's when the RS' were unique and come at the end of the model lifecycle.

Re: Colours

Can you have the styling from the B8. That chin and those wheels are utter dung. I really hate how the body coloured bit under the grill doesn't reach the bottom. It's like it floats because the black/carbon bit dissapears when you're more than a few meters away Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Re: GFV's announced - Nov 2017

So presumably doing this you loose your deposit and have nothing to roll in to the new one as they will only offer enough to cover the finance balloon ? That is the trend lately. They used to leave a bit of wiggle room but not so much anymore. A lot of diesels lately are worth less than their GFVs ...

Re: GFV's announced - Nov 2017

That's a higher loss than previous models. You will find with all pcps now that you will rarely get offered much if anything more than the GFV. You'll maybe make a couple of grand if you sell privately. That's what is stinging people. They are used to the days when the dealer would phone them up 2 y...

Nice one. Ties in with the lease deals out there. About 40k cost in 3 years.
