2012 B8.5 NSF fog light surround: SORTED :o)
Thanks to a suicidal hare  I now need a replacement fog light surround for the NSF of my S4, as mine has gone AWOL. It's the type that looks like the middle one in this comparison picture: http://blog.moddedeuros.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/B8.5-Fog-Light-Comparo.jpg Anyone have one, ...

Re: FS: c. 400bhp 2001 Saab 9-5 estate
Ahhh so nice to see, and what a spec list! some lovely bits on that one! Makes me miss my 380bhp 9-5 Estate too! gotta love the B234/235R combination, bought my block for £90 haha! cheapest engine build ever! Karl really is a legend, he's the one that really got me going with all the mods, after se...

FS: c. 400bhp 2001 Saab 9-5 estate
My c. 400bhp/600Nm 9-5 is now for sale if anyone fancies taking on a less German project... Open to offers around the £5500 mark, but it's worth having a chat and a look at the car before we even think about talking money. It's done about 112/115K miles (I forget now) but very little on it is origin...

Re: Tyre pressure advice needed
Pretty sure my 19s are 41F 38R but I'd have to double check...whatever they're at, it's the pressures listed in the handbook for 19s.

Re: S4 Drive Select - steering
Hey, Tom, you're not very far from me and I thought I had the fastest 9-5 in the North East....! Let me know if you hear if the current owner decides to part with it, I might be interested in robbing any juicy bits that would help mine. Not put FB3 on the dyno since sorting a few intake & exhaust re...

Re: S4 Drive Select - steering
Ooooold thread resurrection  I had already had the alignment checked to make sure and it was spot on at all 4 corners. I sorted this by accident - when the front tyres were due for replacement I swapped the Conti Sport Contact 5s it came with for Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s (as they are my...

Re: Remap options and experiences
Came down to price for me forge supercharger pulley and stage 2 was 60% of same work performed by MRC. That and Ricks work is top notch swing buy the SRS forum and the recommendations don't come highly enough. I've now done 15000 on stage 2 and it's never missed a beat. Yes MRC will get more horses...

Re: Remap options and experiences
MRC are obviously very good at what they do but I throughly recommend Unicorn Motorsport. Rick is over on Audi SRS forum and did my stage 2 after I fitted my forge pulley the results were great. Thanks, do you have personal experience of MRC? What was it about Unicorn that you like so much? Do you ...

Re: Remap options and experiences
Thanks for the reply. I'm very familiar with remapping of forced induction cars, as I've been running tweaked Saab turbos for many years now. I've seen different approaches to mapping, including those who try to squeeze every last Nm from the car at each rpm and those which take a less aggressive ap...

Remap options and experiences
Hi all. I've had my B8.5 S4 for about 10 months now and I'm very pleased with it so far. The Audi Approved Used warranty expires in a couple of months so I'm starting to contemplate some simple mods...one of the reasons I bought the car was the ease of getting more from them. However since I have ow...

Re: What Tyres?
Just to add to this thread. My S4 came with the OE Conti SportContact 5s in 255/35/19 when I bought it. I swapped the rear pair a while ago, for the same again, but the front pair were brand new in March so only recently have I needed to swap the fronts after about 10K. I've gone for the Good year F...

Re: Roof bars and box - Avant
Sorry, that's all I have, but they only extend very slightly beyond the rails. I could measure them up if that would help?
