Re: Merry ***kin Christmas !

Even if the clutch in the TC fails it will still transmit power to the box ok. If the TC has failed completely then there will be a ton of swarf in your box. It’s rare for a TC to fail this way unless it’s in a dragster. Your symptoms sound most like failed clutches in the box (assuming your ATF le...

Re: Pioneer DAB

Probably just needs earthing out, it's so you can't mess with stuff while vehicle is in motion. I earthed mine out on the Kenwood.

Re: RS6 was stolen

Shocking, glad nobody was hurt. I have a friend in Birmingham, his neighbour was sit in his bay window and had thieves trying to take his car while only 2 feet away, it was only the fact that his Ring door bell set his phone off that he noticed. As soon as he got up they fled, thankfully. Absolute s...

Re: Cost of filling up ?

I used to use Momentum in my RS6 cause it was mapped on it. Now Esso supreme is out and better than Momentum I use that, plus the petrol station is only 1 mile away. Pretty sure about 14 years ago Momentum screwed a fair few cars over by wrotting the fuel lines (sure it was Tesco fuel). Still, MRC r...

Re: Cost of filling up ?

You can't blame people for reacting to a lack of essential ressources, real or perceived. One regular person can't affect a change on lots of other people. That's the job of government. If you want to blame the media for anything, blame them for a lack of honest reporting and scrutiny on the real s...

Re: Cost of filling up ?

Well, I just managed to get some from a site that didn't have any yesterday, although 1 of the pumps was empty already? Went to 2 of the others from yesterday and they were still out of 99. The media are cnuts, the created pretty much all this saftness, and then the retards that we are all fell for ...

Must have fuel cause 95 and diesel are still going strong, wonder if those have been prioritised?

Re: Cost of filling up ?

Tried 3 different Esso stations local to me today, none have 99 supreme
2 weeks ago they were the only bloody pumps open, now I need to fill up there isn't any. I should have been a selfish <beep> and filled up when I didn't really need to like the other cnuts did.

Re: Aircon leak but static pressure test ok

Noticed my Aircon not producing cold air, and Econ light staying on. Sure enough, VCDS scan revealed G65 pressure switch signal too low, code 00819. I’ve never had to charge the system so took it to local Aircon guy, recharged again and all seemed fine. Left car a couple of weeks and same fault aga...

Got no invoices of work done on the car then?
Pretty risky saying it's HAD 2 gearbox services, but don't ACTUALLY know if it has or not.
