Re: TPMS malfunctions on RS6 C8

Pretty sure all Audis are 120NM.

Re: Attempted relay theft caught on camera

Or just turn the keyless entry off. Is that through the MMI settings? There was a switch on Mercedes keys you could use which was pretty handy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah you can turn it off in the MMI. Same for my non-Audi car at the moment but can't find such an option in my wife's V...

Re: Map update via Audi connect

The maps are quite big so you'd end up wasting all your data by using Audi Connect.

Re: TPMS malfunctions on RS6 C8

Try swapping wheels around to see if the fault moves to the other side or if it stays in the same place. That should tell you if it is the sensor or the aerial that has the issue. Either way. get the dealer to sort it out.

Re: Car Wow - Audi RS6 v BMW M5 v AMG E63 v Porsche Panamera - DRAG RACE

Think I’ll be holding out for the Performance model and the 15-20% discounts before taking the plunge. The M5’s can be had for £70k or even less these days and it won every test there. If I was looking to change cars now it'd be a no brainer; you can get a 2019 M5 Comp with 1500 miles for £65k. Com...

Interested how many hp would give Miltek none resonated exhaust with stock Downpipes)
It will be negligible. If you want more power from exhaust you need decat or sports cat.

Re: Speak upgrade advice

I'd still disconnect the centre channel whilst weighing up your options; it's a 5 minute mod.

Re: Boot sticking

Isn't there a way to limit how high the boot lid opens? Perhaps the limit needs resetting to a higher (normal) height. Or is it stopping due to resistance?

Re: Latest Car Wow comparison test

It doesn't quite add up for me. The BMW is blistering quick, yet it weighs about the same as the RS6, has only 25hp more but 50NM less, and uses the same gearbox. Both probably have similar driveline losses (I assume he was racing in AWD mode). So what is the big difference? The tyres? Possibly, I k...

Re: Anyone chipped yet?

Compared to the best double clutch offering it’s slow. And in the traffic light Grand Prix contest it’d lose horridly to a 992 TTS which is king of that trick. Probs with the double-clutch are the limits - the latest ZF's imo are <beep> hot. Check out the 50 repeat launches one of the mags did with...

Re: Speak upgrade advice

Disconnect the centre channel speaker, fit an amp and subwoofer in the boot and listen to FLACs rather than MP3s. Beyond that you will be looking at changing speakers and adding amps. The B&O in the C7 does sound pretty good but no better than a half decent aftermarket set-up. But it has the conveni...

Re: Anyone chipped yet?

To be fair, most cars would lose in a sprint off the lights against a 992 Turbo S.

Luckily for our C8 friends here, the ZF8 is a very common gearbox so a lot of other cars they may be challenging off the lights will also have slush box.
Just avoid racing any of these:

Re: I dyno tested the pipercross air filter

The little pre-resonators are officially called 'front resonators' on the Audi parts list. Not sure how much difference the front ones will make as i had my front and centre removed at the same time (valves disconnected so permanently open). Sounded much better than stock. Cats will make a nice diff...
