Been there too, sold my saloon, bought an Avant, sold that and moved to other cars and missed the B7’s dearly... bought the saloon back and happy.

I think Steve’s car is a B8 rather than B7, but same principle. Not sure if Bilstein, KW or Koni do kits for the B8, but if they do I’d go for those over H&R personally.

I know they look cool and all that and no doubt don’t fade as much out of the box. However a decent set of pads i.e. hawk, ds3000, RS29 and some high boiling point fluid 600-660 and braided lines is really all you need for repeated fast road / track work. Much cheaper too.

Pre cats generally have a higher cell count. I would imagine the C5 runs 400 cell pre cars and 200 cell main cats. If you’re going aftermarket and want more power but pass MOT’s, then 100 cell sports cats are the best option. I would think Wagners do them for the C5, as they do for the B5’s. 200 cel...

Audi direct retrofit, or ebay.de for the ones I built into the rear door cards. I did the latter with my last Avant.
