Re: Fitment
I've got C6 brakes on the front and 275/30/19s currently shod on aftermarket 9.5x19s ET35. I think I'll give these 265/35/19s a shot on the OEMs. I don't think the Contis will be a patch on the GY F1 asyms but it'll give me time to track down some winter rubber and get my rims recon'd. If you put t...

Re: Fitment
Yup, they'll fit. You change the gearing by about 1% wrt 255 so your speedo will under read by that amount.
They'll physically fit your HREs. What tyres are you running on them?
Do you really want to put contis on your car?

Re: moody warning lights....
Lots of reasons for these lights coming on. The most common have been mentioned. Bizarrely they can also come on if you've got a problem with the MAFs or a lot of unmetered air getting into your engine (normally when MAFs are not seated correctly). Go figure. Spitelli, I suggest that you have a real...

Re: moody warning lights....
You don't need any adapter. The RS6, like every EU car after 2006, has an OBD2 port.

Re: moody warning lights....
Best thing is to get a vagcom from ilexa.co.uk.
They are not cheap, but will pay for themselves almost instantly
Plugs into the OBD2 port under the dash.

Re: moody warning lights....
I have had this happen a couple of times. Completely randomly. Like you said, driving along and ping there they are. On both occasions there was no fault code stored and the lights went off after restarting. These cars have a soul. They are like a woman that has a random sulk to remind you how tenuo...

Re: Black Plus. Now what?
Why do people always sell a car with one key? What do they do with the other one? The mind boggles. Anyway, for the key, you can buy a new one at Audi. They'll cut it for you if you give them your serial number. Or you can buy one off ebay and get a new blade cut. This place'll even cut one from a p...

Re: Black Plus. Now what?
Scratches on the side and front windows?? Bizarre Have you got tints on? The film could be scratched. Sat nav map seems stuck on the last destination Sounds like the GPS antenna is dead. Get a new one from amazon for a few quid and put it somewhere out of site under the dash (on top of glove box?) ...

Petroldave isn't too far from there and no one knows that stuff better than him.
Otherwise, do what AMAR said. Or ANY car hifi place will have keys to get your RNS-E out.

Re: Has this ever happened to anyone
Happens all the time. There are a couple of solutions: 1. Deactivate the comfort opening feature (need vagcom) 2. Don't leave keys in pocket I went for n° 2 after finding the windows and boot open and doors unlocked a few times. Also very quickly runs flat the battery in the remote which is then a p...

Mine's brushed aluminium. Possibly your tailgate was replaced at some point?
Either that or you scrubbed it too hard and changed it from matt to polished

Re: Still got it
I'm always in 2 minds whether to park in 2 spaces and risk someone keying it, or leave it in a single space and hope no one dings the door. What usually happens is that I just take a different car instead if there are likely to be carparks involved :( My wife's cousin freely admitted to me that she ...
