Ended up changing all 4 to the Goodyears...

Just taken these tyres off because I wanted to try a different brand and had to replace all 4 tyres. No repairs etc.

One has 5-5.5mm tread across whole width, the other 5.5-6mm.

£120 collected from North London (Finchley). No postage option sorry.

When cold these things are like a smoke machine. White smoke, then once the idle revs drop after 1-2 mins it should go away.

Got the Dunlops at the moment but one of the rears is pretty low. Got 5 and 6mm left on the two fronts, so was going to change both rears only to Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2, same 275 35 R20. Do I need to change all 4 given I'm changing the brand/pattern? I'm guessing from manufacturer to manufacturer ...

Do you have a pic of the splitter on the car? Is it MTM?

As far as I know the MTM is the only "branded" valved system... the valve opens/closes based on boost pressure - so not too antisocial when at idle. I got quoted £3.3k+VAT for that cat-back system. Some people on here have had custom ones made though which presumably they can be made with a valve co...

Ordered my discs and pads from PW Motorsport on Wednesday evening... arrived today. Pretty good service and pricing it seems.

Nice one Oilydan... Had just booked mine in for brakes at Audi, but checked PW Motorsport after reading your post - getting parts from them and fitted from an independent works out a lot cheaper... a big enough difference for the extra headache!

thanks guys. called a few other dealers, surprised at the spread of pricing (£500 difference from two dealers 5 miles apart!). Cheapest I got was £2090 so will go with them

Been quoted around £2100 for new discs and pads all around from Audi... sound reasonable/anyone know best deals out there?
