clutch 3k-never take it back to them unless its the flywheel and they offered you the choice...? if they dont play ball get onto trading standards and your bank if paid by card one thing i would check is the bellhousing bolts,if these have come stack it will feel like clutch failure -happened to me ...

as for things to be aware of its all pretty well documented on here-some things cause issues but you wont find it till you go to do routine work or have owned it a while such as seized caliper pins on front,seized pinch bolts, clutch pedal can stick down if you thrash it-but more than likely you are...

i replaced the upper pinch bolts on my present car over 3 years ago-when replacing them i used a fair amount of clear silicone type grease[as recommended to me by an engineer mate] they were absolutely solid when i replaced them the first time-took great time and effort plus one replacement upright ...

if its only on the overrun you can work around it till it needs a clutch and do it then,if it popped out under load it would be more of a worry my particular style of driving would probably never uncover / encounter that issue as for the most part i just go up and down the gears,i dont trickle throu...
