Re: Help battery drain

Have you had any work done on your RNSE? If the coding was not done correctly, it might not go into stand by mode.

Re: Brake disks and pads

After the initial outlay, the running cost of the ceramics for 50K miles of use would be next to nothing, whereas the steel setup could require anything up to two set of discs and four set of pads. The only down side is if the ceramic discs ever get damaged or have excessive hairline cracks, it can ...

Re: RS4 (B7) Phantom Black Saloon, 47,500 miles

Audi swapped the complete engine for a new one, so it shouldn't and haven't been a problem. At least one good thing is that the engine has done even less mileage. It took them in total of 6 weeks to diagnose the problem, wait for a new engine from Germany and then to installation it.

Re: Revs not quite right

It might be the PCV valve as it will have perished over the years, it's mounted under the carbon fibre RS engine cover.

Re: Brake disks and pads

The OEM pads have been updated since the problem has been identified many years ago. I have upgraded my brakes to ceramics and have not regretted it. The braking performance is awesome, virtually no wear and no more dirty front wheels as there are no brake dusts. The only down side is the cost, even...

If you're selling the parts I'd be interested in a price on the splitter please.

Looks lovely, you've done a nice job ;)
Thanks Jays

Once the car is sold, the extra parts will be up for sale.

P.S. typo corrected

RS4 (B7) Phantom Black Saloon, 47,500 miles

I have finally decided to sell my RS4 (B7) after nearly 10 years. It was a pre-registered new car from Stafford Audi with delivery mileage. Some of you may know my car and I have been modifying it over the last 6 years. I will be taking it back to as standard as possible to keep the price down. Summ...

Re: Intermittent sensors

If it is a sensor, you can tell which sensor it is by listening for a slight clicking noise. If it doesn't make any noise, then it faulty.

Re: BLACK GRILL

Anyone know where I can locate a front grill to fit the RS4? I'm thinking about attempting the RS6 plateless mod but can't find one anywhere..Does the S Line grill fit? I have a modified front grill. I'm in the process of moving the parking sensor mounts higher, as it sometimes picks up the ground ...

you mean your flat bottom wheel will be up for sale soon?
Yes, I might be putting my car up for sale after nearly 10 years of ownership. It has a custom trimmed steering wheel on at the moment and I have kept my original. It would depends on which steering wheel the buyer wants.

Unless you go for a Gruppe M Induction Kit (£1,300+), which use a K&N cone air filter.

Re: Cost of Wheel Swapover

Yes it is, but if you go for a OEM RS4 steering wheel, you'll loose the multi-function controls. My original steering wheel might be up for sale with airbag, it's only done about 24k miles when I swapped it out, coding will be needed after the swap. Not sure regarding the price though.

The carbon backed seats on Argon Creative's website are mine. It was skinned over the top without taking the seats frame apart, I did tried but couldn't find a way to do it.
