as said cheap cars are priced low for a reason-however the easiest way to get a financial headache with an rs4 is to buy one that has lowish[sub 100k miles] pay a premium for a big spec[optics,heated rears,tech pack etc] and is on drc etc.the pitfalls here are it will need a clutch if no evidence,d...

Could say the same to some extent on cars on pcp /lease deals too . Some people have zero intention on keeping the car so have little sympathy.

Yes some cheap hand held can clear airbag fault codes . Do a search on ebay . As for your cut wires I would solder the plugs onto the original loom and heat shrink the joints . Then buy another two plugs / repair wires from Audi and source the 4.7 ohm resistor as mentioned . Join wires and resistor ...

This is exactly the same symptoms/scenario I had a few months ago. Fluid leaking in the same place as you've mentioned and it was due to the metal pipe above the petrol tank corroding and then leaking. Mine also started making a loud knocking noise due to lack of fluid in the system. Had to drive 2...

That definitely sounds like DRC fluid to me. Do yourself a favour and sack it off. If you do decide to keep it you'll be in for a huge bill if the pipes have sprung a leak and it's only a matter of time until another part of it will fail. Thanks .
