RE: Gauging interest on a Milltek exhaust system...

The system is now released and retails at £1417.02 inc VAT. We offer this system at £1275.32 inc VAT. We can also currently offer free fitting on this, saving a further £115 inc VAT on top.

RE: B7 milltek to B6

The centre pipes are the same on the B6 and the B7, only the rear sections differ due to the B6 having the single tailpipes which are seperate from the boxes, and the B7 having the quad pieces which are already attached to the boxes. You should be able to fit the system on to the car, but i am not 1...

If you really want to make the exhaust note more pronounced then the non-resonated is definately the way to go. The downpipes are there as a performance increase, but they will also have an affect on the sound as they are larger and more free flowing.

A milltek will be perfect for you. The only thing is on the RS6 the turbo's take out some of the noise from the engine. The resonated cat back system has mid silencers in it, where as the non-resonated has straight through pipes in the middle. I think you may be best going for a resonated one if you...

RE: Warranty

That sounds like a lot of money to me, but i guess if your DRC goes then it would cost more than that to get it right. What does the warranty cover?

The biggest gripe i have ever heard of on any car! Get some KW V3's on there, no more DRC problems, and will cost a fraction of what fixing the drc will!

The milltek systems are first rate. We sell them at a 10% discount, and there are so many different options there is a system to suite everybody! We have done quite a few of these and always see a smile on the customers face when they hear it for the first time :)

I dont think they are a common car by any stretch, i guess it depends where abouts in the country you are, in the middle of manchester i may see a couple more than if i was in Bolton or something like that. I do tend to see a few more saloons than avants though, and hardly any cab's. I have only see...

As most have already mentioned, the main difference between the A3 1.8T and the S3 is that the S3 has a K04 turbo as opposed to the K03 on the A3, it has twin side intercoolers - the A3 only has 1, inlet manifold is in a different orientation, slightly larger injectors in the S3, S3 engine is strong...

RE: First Post - DRC failure

Such a common thing to go, and if you did repair it or get it replaced, then unfortunately i think its a waiting game until it goes again. As mentioned above, for what it can potentially cost, its far better to go for a replacement suspension kit like the KW V3's which will get rid of the DRC fault ...

RE: S3 trailing arm suspension collapse!

I have never heard of that happening, how long have you owned the car for? Like they said, there could have been some previous damage to it (caused by a previous owner) which has caused it be weak.

Oh and just a note, this is best going in the S3 section, not the S4 B5 section :)

RE: Photoblocker number plate spray

I keep hearing different reports about these, some people swear by them, others say they arent worth it at all. Also a workmate of mine said there are more truvelo camera's now which dont use a flash like the older gatso's. I'd save my money to be honest :)
