RE: fuel consumption on rs2

My take 14 ltr in the city and 10 on the highway, with speed 80-140km/h. Try to clean the maf with some cleaning spray and maybe change lambda. i can't say anything of the spark plugs but people often talk about using the right ones.
I don't think 5.9 is a bad time if its a stock one.

I can't see why the seller don't fix these things, if it's only these 3. These 3 items aren't that expensive and he would get the money back when he sells the car.

My rs2 was L registered and it's a 94. It was registered in austria the first time and later in england, it's a LHD.

RE: rs2 boost pressure

Changed my DV to a forge one today. The old one had a small hole in the side and now the pressure is stable, dropping when it gets higher revs but doesn't start jumping.

RE: 996tt brake upgrade

I would have done the upgrade with both calipers and discs from 996tt BUT when I tried to fit my winter tires (not stock ones) there was only ~1mm clearance so I had to go for the smaller setup. That will say 996tt calipers and 965.351.045/046 porsche discs (322x32), that givs a lot more room betwee...

RE: rs2 boost pressure

I Changed all my boost hoses to samcos last week and checked the hole system for leakages but coudn't find any. The boost peaks at 1.5 bar and then drops fast to 1bar and starts jumping up and down between 1 and 1.2bar. Does anyone have any suggestions what could be wrong? I looked at s2forum and th...

996tt brake upgrade

Hello I did my 996tt brake upgrade at the front last week and the brakes are really good compared to the small reds that were corroded. I also changed the brake lines to goodridge all around. I also have the 996tt rear calipers and would like to install them as well. It seems that the pad is too big...

996 brake upgrade

Hello

I'm going to upgrade my small reds to 996tt calipers but can I use disc 330x34 also? I'm going to use the original 17" rims.

what about the rear calipers. Is it possible to upgrade these with 996tt rear calipers or will the brake balance be bad?

The previous owner had made a cylinder head overhaul with all new valves and everything. When I bought the car I didn't have time go and take a look at it so I send a friend to buy it. My friend called me and said that it's a nice car but the idle is bad. Well, I thought that it shouldn't be such a ...

Found the problem. When I checked the camshafts it looked like the marks were towards each but another look and with more knowledge of the markings and were they should be the inlet camshaft was one teeth wrong against the exhaust. Now the car is idling properly.

Fuel pressure is okey and filter is changed. Lambda is working like it should. I have received camshaft numbers from a few people and they have another numbers than I do on my ex camshaft, so I'm looking for rs2 camshafts now.
