If you can afford a 100k + car then a 30k hit should not matter, if it does matter then you where acting the big dick all along.

Put the possible scratch and oil in the boot issues aside, I cant see what the big deal is with the speeding.

Take your car to RUF for a conversion and they test it flat out on the autobahn.

If your worried about your car doing 60mph then get a push bike.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but not to the RS4. Currently i have a evo 7 pushing around 330bhp, i'm strongly thinking about getting a b7 rs4 but am doubtful in that its modifications are very limited. Was thinking about the e92 M3 but RWD isn't really my thing. Any comments to steer me onto the RS pa...

Take a look at Audi website. 06 cars with high mileage not that cheap, only 9 in Sprint Blue, my choice, for sale, only 45 cars in total In 3 years time after some will have been written off/stolen, low mileage FMDASH minters will be worth good money IMO No Chance. 3 years time expect no more than ...

First answer from Audi was; 1) The air box in an RS4 has an extra flap in it that will open at times of high demand and when the car is on a dyno there is not enough cold air flow so the motor will breath warm air and therefore be down on power , What if you live south of the boarder? 2) The AWD sy...

Re: RE: Trackers on or off

I've heard that the scum know you will very probably have a tracker fitted to your car so they take it somewhere not too far away and strip it of everything they can then leave it for the old bill to find. The RS4 is in the top 5 list of cars nicked. Where did you get your data from? 2005-2006 most...

You will get better runs if you dont bog, probably half a second quicker.
My better times were achieved when i had a bit of tyre slip and when i was dumping the clutch around the 4700-5000 mark.

Hopefully the person doing the customisation would have theaccess rights / ability to alter the remap parameters to suit the car whilst on the rolling road. I don't suppose it matter if you are on the other side of the world or 5 miles down the road from the company who created the remap in that re...

I chose a remap so that the engine performed more to my liking not because it was better. The remap comes with drawbacks (reduced engine longevity, increased fuel consumption and poorer emissions to name but a few) which i accept and i do not consider that to be a better product than what Audi produc...

If this scoop really does decrease oil temps (or rather allow them to recover quicker) and im not for one second saying it does'nt why did Audi not think of this quite basic mod?
How does it effect Drag and Downforce etc? Have you had it tested in a wind tunnel or are we talking assumptions?

Go to JD Eng if you want the map that you are talking about. He is without a doubt the most knowledgable person/company with regards to the RS4. There is a noticable difference at full throttle below 5k rpm but less so after that. The JD Eng remap allows the exhaust flaps to stay open in sport mode ...

The likes of NU are more expensive normally because you deciide where you want the car repaired etc, with the cheaper companies you may have no say in who repairs it

See here;- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_flow_sensor Its a well known fact that oiled air filters allow oil to cover the MAF and cause it to either give false Air Flow readings of just fail completely, although manufacturers will deny this fact, it can't be denied that there has been a huge incr...
