Come to the conclusion that 6mth servicing regardless of mileage (did 5k last year - only home 6mths of the year) isn't very clever along with the other costs.

Half thinking of coming back to the Audi fold.

Seen a really nice avant in Monza silver. 58 plate with cream leather.

Anyone give me advice on what to look for? In particular, are the ceramic brakes all that? Does this model have issues with DRC (the reason the RS4 got sold).

Cheers guys :-) No probs. Just booked the concierge service for the 12mth / 12k miles. Coming to collect with lowloader in inverness to take it to Nobles Nissan Edinburgh. Free of charge I hasten to add! Service is £445 inclusive of parts labour and vat, the service takes approx 3 hrs to do. The car...

Nearly at 12 months now guys & 7k miles. Small update for you. Not even a hiccup so far from the GTR despite some very heavy abuse. Needs 2 x rear tyres which are not too expensive from the likes of camskill and will need a second, (more expensive :( ) service as soon as I get home this month. Two s...

Datsun indeed! :lol: I had a test of the new S4 before I bought my new car. I found it plenty fast enough and it is absolutely stunning inside. Much more modern than the B7 cabin IMHO. As a few people have mentioned, you'd really have to work hard to make a B8 S4 get smaller in the rear view mirror ...
