RE: Anone know a good source for parts
Don't know if you are still looking but if anyone has part numbers for items they require call 020 8956 5000 Euro Car Parts but only speak to my mate Sid and tell him Craig sent you.

RE: Warranty
Does it not seem terrible to every RS6 owner that the suspension is a bit like a Nokia phone? Lasts 'till the end of the warranty then packs up. In the USA I read that the government body in charge of things like crap cars is looking into the DRC problem and may issue a recall notice. Pity our watch...

RE: Took the
ashleyadam, I only went for the day and if you are flexible with your crossing times (ie don't go when they are busy!) you get great deals. I book direct on the eurotunnel website. How long ago did you last travel? They have reduced their prices big time recently to compete with the ferries. Have a ...

RE: Warranty
The warranty Direct policy says they will only cover if the breakdown takes place in the UK or Ireland. Does this mean if your gearbox blows on holiday in France you are excluded? Seems a bit harsh.
Also it says that the maximum age of the vehicle to start Platinum cover is 2 years!

RE: Took the
I used to do Harwich -> Hook of Holland when going to see friends in Rotterdam. Gets you nicely North. Used to be long crossings though; about 8 hours I think but they do a fast ferry now (or did) Eurotunnel is so convenient. I am in Kent anyway and can drive off in France in just over 1 hour from l...

Took the '6 to Euro Disney for the day
Actually, I took the Kids: the car just transported us. I love Eurotunnel. £22 each way AND they throw in a free adult Disney ticket! I think the French hate us. At the tolls, the right hand side ticket dispenser for Rosbeefs never works and with a queue of cars behind I had to get out and walk roun...

3 flash overtaking mod
I apologise if someone has already mentioned this but the one thing I missed when I rejected the S4 and got the RS6 was the 3 flash indicator thing whereby you can tap the indicator stalk and the indicators flash 3 times for motorway overtaking without the need to cancel them manually. Well, those c...

I just send my wife down to the local tyre place and the guys there fall over themselves to put the air in at the correct pressure!

Steve, are the claim limits the same? ie. if the gearbox goes, will both warranties cover the full cost? Do they both cover associated damage? ie. if the gearbox siezed and locked up the tranny causing the tyres to shred would they pay for the tyres? Is there a claim limit? I will be in the same sit...

I have a feeling that the 30th will be OK. Will there be anyone there willing to cross drive to give their opinion on my continuing dissatisfaction with my suspension? Also (wants the world) as I will probably be keeping the '6 for a 4th year I will go ahead and fit a bluetooth car kit. Anyone comin...

RE: Re: RE: Progress on Groans
Mine has done this for 34,000 miles, not all the time, and never when at the dealers or on a road test!! My warranty is up in 5 months. I think it is more likely to happen when pulling away at low speed from a junction. Strangely, mine only seems to happen going right. Also in a multistorey carpark ...
