RE: Manual Conversion
B5 RS4 box will not hold up very long unless you upgrade the gears as the torque will strip the gears off the shafts

Sad news but here in Australia mainly Sydney there has been a large number of car jackings in the last year mainly targeting european cars. The main method is to jump out on you at a set of traffic lights or even run up your backside making you think it is an accident then wrestling you for the keys...

Electronic Boost Control
Hi, Just borrowed an Apexi boost controller and was wondering how I could connect it to control boost to see if I can try and smooth out my boost response curve. RE: Manual Conversion
Grizz - Thanks for your info. I have a tuner that i can use but i like the idea of ditching the ecu (tcu will go with the auto) for a Motec say M800. It appears from what i have read that the RS4 B5/B7 gearbox's are very similar as far as if they are strong enought only time and torque will tell 42tt

RE: Manual Conversion
well the standard tiptronic is marginal in the RS6 with standard torque 560nm. I will not be doing rev-limiter lauches unless at the 1/4mile and even then wont be abusing it. I would like the read diff ratio to allow a top speed of around ~280km/h as I am not after V-Max just a quick car that i can ...

s4woody - Would it be safe to assume that the C5 S6 4.2 V8 manual transmission would have the highest torque rating?
