Not sure if it is of interest but we put my wife's Cab up for sale last week. It's a Daytona Grey 56 plate with black leather, Sep 06 with 26,000 miles owned by us since new. Extras were adaptive lights, auto dimming and folding mirrors and carbon inlays. Audi Bluetooth GSM mobile phone prep was ret...

Well brakes are all done but car is still with Audi. They are unable to cure a suspension fault. Apparently air is getting into the system and whenever they vacuum it out, it comes back. They have replaced some lower suspension bits but can't find the problem! Meanwhile we have a second Q7 on the dr...

We have had it since new. 20,000 miles on the pads seemed reasonable, I was just surprised that the discs needed doing at the same time, I would have expected a couple of sets of pads per discs. As for changing them myself, I can do tyre pressures, screen wash and oil and that is my limit! I said th...

RS4 Pads and Discs so soon?
The wife's RS4 went to Audi today for DRC work and whilst there they checked a squeal from the front brakes. I was called earlier to say that the pads and discs are 90% worn at 20,000 miles- does this sound right? Surely the pads will wear before the discs as both are the originals. They wanted £100...

All sorted, plugged the Bose one back in again tonight, I might make a career out of this!! Craig out of interest, are the mics the same? I was going to swap the connections so that the mic on the right, which is currently the BOSE one, is closest to the driver to pick up speech better. I can't swap...

Ah, I disconnected the other mic, took it out and swapped it with the one that you supplied me. Should I reconnect it again? Why does the BOSE have a mic? If anyone is thinking about doing this, I am no expert and I did it and Craig was very helpful with my questions pre delivery! Craig- many thanks...

Hi there from a newbie. Andy, this thread inspired me to put one in our RS4 Cab this afternoon so many thanks. Was surprised how relatively easy it was. Craig- one thing, you need to amend the instructions to say 6 x 8mm bolts- I was tugging for ages until I came back indoors and re read this thread...
