About 18mpg on the DIS. Most of my journeys are *gulp* short, cold engine journeys to work and back which probably explains this useless figure.

Had a listen to both the standard and modded S4 on that link and I honestly couldn't tell any difference...apart from maybe a splutter in the middle, but it could just been a dodgy mpeg file [img]images/graemlins/tung2.gif[/img]

Yikes, all sounds expensive... if it were the mounts would it be covered under my Warranty Direct policy which states: Suspension Upper and lower wishbones, control arms, stabilising bars with associated ball joints, swivel pins and bushes, displacer units, wheel bearings, tailgate suspension struts...

Over the last week I have noticed a hollow clunk-type sound from the front left wheel when going over rough roads, and especially when the wheel is turned at the time. Any suggestions on what this might be?

(obviously comparing both pre-chipped) I was also having a quick look at the RS2 forum and decided to read the Evo buying guide, they felt it out-handled any 'S' Audi ma...

Right, I've bought a brake-piston-screw-clamp thing (was £20!!!) and will check it out this evening. One final question, are the calipers held on with the standard allan key bolts, or is there something clever going on there too? Hi all, Since I bought my S4 I've always had a slight squeel in the brakes when in use, and I decided I would wait until I needed a new set before doing something about it (hopefully just changing the discs/pads would be enough) However, in the last couple of days things have gone bad. I wouldn't worry, I can't get mine into reverse even when I'm not revving the nuts off it [img]images/graemlins/spineyes.gif[/img]

btw, I think it can be in netural to see if oil is in the cylinders giving you the lush blue smoke.
