It`s the oil cooler thats the cause of the problem. New one ordered from the very helpful VAG parts boys.

It`s defo coming from oilfilter and turbo side of engine as oil is dripping from directly below the line of the O/S foglight. If I get it up on a trolley...

Avant running fine again

An update to my last topic , about my car refusing to start.. It was repaired by the garage which diagnosed it and it was exactly what you peeps suggested it might be, the camshaft sensor was the culprit and it stung just like an Audi only part should do. I`ve been and done a 1020 mile round trip to...

RE: Re: RE: will not start

Cheers for that boys I`ll call the garage where I took it tomorrow and pass your info on. When I dropped it off at another garage in town the owner said that these motors are very hard to read any fault codes? was he just filling my head full of nonsense?

the other day I drove my avant as normal then when I tried to start it after about 20mins away from car it would not fire only crank over till the low oil pressure icon appeared and I stopped trying. fuel filter change

I`m wondering if anybody has changed their fuel filter at kerbside motors? does the fuel tank have to be dropped to gain access?

Had a look on site but the picture it comes up with for the caliper is different to mine...The bracket for the h/b/cable is bolted onto the rear of the caliper with hex bolts on mine

Cheers

s2 rear calipers

I`m needing a new caliper for MOT but my local motor factors is struggling to trace a part. ECP can supply one but I don`t trust ecp to get the part right first time ( they never have before) Audi dealer will take 10 to 15 days to source a caliper for muchos cash Any info on suppliers of calipers th...

I`ve been with elephant for a few years now..and they really are that cheap. Only prob I had was when I changed the car on my policy they took 8 days to get the new certificate thru to me. only charged me £17 to change from 2.3 coupe to S2 avant.
