RE: Movit disc replacement
I bought my RS-6 Avant and drove it direct to Movit. Installed drilled rotors front and rear plus new calipers and stainless lines. The mod turned the RS-6 into a different car. Wear has been minimal and no cracks. If you drive often rust is no problem. When I wash the car, I either do a short drive...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Recommended oil for RS-6
After more research and a reply from Castrol in the UK: Audi has now recommend the use of VW 504 00/507 00 5W-30 across the whole Audi range - including the RS4 and RS6 so the Castrol product in this case would be EDGE 5W-30. (In France it's called SLX Longlife III) According to Castrol, the EDGE Tu...

Recommended oil for RS-6
Since I bought my RS-6 several years ago, there has been an evolution in Castrol products and I was wondering what is now recommended for the RS-6. My car is used mainly in spring/summer in Europe and I drive fairly quick. What I hear is that Castrol Longlife III is very good, but it is offered in s...

new RS4 at GVA
After actually seeing the car at Geneva and finding out the final details of the new RS4 (saloon is butt ugly and power just ain't enough) unfortunately i think (maybe the Avant will change my mind) that i am moving my choice to the new Corvette Z06. Many people will say "what!!!", but i have heard...

RS4 at Geneva press day
The wait was not worth it. Until I get a test drive it's not fair to judge but it's not a car I would even want to see in my garage, it's too ugly. The RS type styling has lost the business like aggressive while modest shape. The car looks heavy and it sat high on its wheels. The front has the weird...

You can go to the www.Audi.de web site and click on the A6 link. There are many picures of the A6 Avant, price lists, car configurator, tech specs etc. S6 and RS6 info on the TV was voice over video of the new A6 Avant. No pix or renderings of S and RS. I am skeptical of the announced 2007 date for ...

2007 RS6 V10 500hp
Announced today (14 nov) on the AutoMoto TV program in France. The new A6 Avant and future S6 and RS6 models. The RS6 they say will have the V10 5l engine from Lamborghini producing 500hp. The picture of the A6 Avant looked great, much better than the new saloon/limosine. The car is longer and the r...

Triptronic mod.
Driving an Audi with a triptronic gear box is strange. In most cars, shifting up means pulling the lever back, shifting to a lower gear means pushing the lever forward. Not in an Audi.
Could the triptronic electrical control simply be reversed?
