I've kept the original Avus wheels. Decided to go for the standard look.

Am I barking up the wrong tree thinking about doing this: http://www.tyresmoke.net/attachments/1200365-b6-rs4-wheels.jpg These are 19" wheels - I was thinking 18" straight replacements with an ET of 35, to avoid the expense of spacers, longer wheel bolts and longer locking bolts. As far as I know the timing chain and cam chain need done at 5 years or 80,000 miles well that's what the dealer recomended too me. Having just come from a Golf R32, which is also chain-driven, they also don't need replacing. Forgetting the fact that there was a manufacturing fault on a batch of R3...

The non-resonated is OK, as long as you're not going for the hi-flow cats later on - it's just too loud and very boomy when they're on.
