RE: S3 ARB Question??

I just replaced the front anti-roll bar bushes to then find that the anti-roll bar was f~*k'd. Even after I replaced the bar it still didn't cure the creaks & squeaks. I then found two other problems. 1) strut top bearing was knackered causing the strut not to turn properly resulting in a "boing" no...

Do you need to change the rear plate of the rear lights (bulb holder) to fit the facelift rear light lens.

Re: Uprated Clutch & Flywheel ?

Hi there, I'm looking at getting a new clutch fitted in my s3 (270bhp) as I have started to experience some clutch slippage. I know that you can get an MTM uprated clutch from Kim Collins at QST but I'm still not sure what way to go with the clutch. Anyone got any tips on which way would be better f...

Re: Clutch problems

Looks like I'm going to take your advise and go for the MTM clutch but can you tell me what this clutch is like to use? Is it OK for normal everyday driving or is a bit of a fierce bugger?

cheers

Re: early s3,tuning?

I have an 08/00 Noggy blue S3 which has an APR chip installed (fitted by Star Performance) which has now raised the horses to 270bhp. The only problem that I have experienced is that the clutch has started to slip with the upgraded program enabled. I am currently running the car on the standard prog...

Clutch problems

Hi there folks,
I've had my S3 about 6 months ago which has a 270bhp remap installed. I've just started experiencing the clutch slipping with the uprated program running, but not on standard program. Can any of you recommend what type of clutch would suit.
cheers

Re: Wanted ABT 18"x8.5 alloy

Never even thought of doing that. The only thing is that there is a slight difference between the 8J & the 8.5J wheels (8.5J wheels have a false bolt head at the end of each spoke). I suppose that its only a slight difference. I took my damaged alloy to my local alloy wheel specialist/repairer who c...

Re: Wanted ABT 18"x8.5 alloy

I've checked these out and it is a 18" x 8J wheel. Ive got 18 x 8.5J wheels fitted to my S3. A effin great big pothole destroyed one of them.

Thanks for the link.
