Re: Now I need spacers

Still on DRC gentlemen, but I didn't know you could adjust the height. Any guidance on the subject? Tyres are those recommended by MTM : 255x35xR19, I went with those Michelin Pilot Sport 4. You can't adjust the height so to speak, but who ever regased it didn't do it correctly. Yo ass is too high!

Re: Now I need spacers

Yeah, top picture makes it look like an Allroad. Probably only an inch too high at the rear.

+2 for Trups as well. I can now drive properly at night without having to change my underwear when you get home!
Why were you having to change your underwear when the OP got home?

Trups will sort you out OP. Ask him about the rear light upgrade too, still not sorted me out with it yet.

Re: Remap question

100% worth it, changes the car a fair bit. I'd also say that ARB mod makes as big a difference too. Both these are need on the car imo.

Re: Gearbox Upgrades

You have to be careful with having more oil than required cause it's harder to cool then. Could always beef up the cooler.
What we really need is, the newer boxes to be the same size so they'd fit the C5 chassis!

Re: Gearbox Upgrades

it's only the clutch packs that get upgraded with springs and played, easy. And uprated pump, modified pick up etc. There's a whole lot of little improvements/mods that all have to work together. But I agree an uprate pack from Level 10 would probably cover most things. Pretty sure Chester offer an...

Re: Gearbox Upgrades

Surely someone over here must be able to upgrade these, it's just a gearbox! They don't do anything to the casing, it's only the clutch packs that get upgraded with springs and played, easy. And verters get built over here, no?
If I had enough time, I'd do them, nothing difficult.

Re: In an attempt to remain positive...

Did someone mention my old box??!! Fully uprated by 517 Trans , but be aware it has done over 110K miles since, and running high torque (880 Nm). Serviced every 20K miles at MRC. Probably needs a new F125 switch or connector (used to throw a code occasionally when parked up for 24+ hours in the rai...

Is Cryptic Amanda? What happened to her car? Last I knew she was running it at very high figures?
That be her. Don't know what happened to her car, but heard it was parked up growing grass around it. She did drive it like she stole it all the time, so could be engine or box, or both.

Is cryptics car still off the road? Last I heard it was rotting away in her garden. Wonder if the box is still good in it?
Yeah, yeah, "her garden" "box". Calm down.

Re: In an attempt to remain positive...

Is the gearbox casing damaged at all? That's some shite luck there.
