Re: Re mapping and torque through the block of cheese

The box fails in normal tune, not only tuned cars that fail. Has the box been serviced in its life? If not, get it serviced and see what the filter/oil quality are like. Will the tuner be able to map the box at the same time? You could have a real high torque map, but if you're not doing standing la...

I reckon they’re on about these.
They've gotta be better than those though, they're only 100watt.

Re: Nice Racing Mica Blue at Amazingstoke

I've used Basingstoke for years and they go through phases - alternating between oddness and quality in my experience. I have been a customer since 2007. Got to know everyone, manager was someone I knew outside of dealership, had integrity and sorted out the branch. I had a brief BMW phase and so h...

It's on the move - just been called by tracker to say I have an alert! :drink:
Be funny if it's been stolen from them [emoji38]
...you mean "stolen" after it's been insured for £10k...?
That wouldn't be a surprise, seeing as they are struggling to advertise it places now.

Re: What to replace it with.....

Should probably explain it has to be a big estate car. The reason I got the RS6 in the first place was so that I didn't have to run 2 cars. And with the family I need the space. C7 RS6 would be ideal depending on the money they are demanding in a couple of years time. My guess is they will be doubl...

Keep those wheels on it!
Looks really smart, I just can't get to like that rear bumper though.
I meant i'd get some originals too (as a winter set). Rear bumper - standard is it not?

Re: GEAR BOX ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH

Contaminated clutches from Glycol in the oil would be my guess. Mine played up loads but was eventually sorted following a test for Glycol in the oil. Turns out the ATF radiator fails leaking coolant into the gearbox which then goes on to damage the clutch pack and probably the valve pack and elect...

Re: Really...these questions...again?

Welcome back kiwi. What's the service history like? The exhaust tips could have just been sprayed, mine were when I purchased it and had silver roof rails (not sure if you remember it from when we were at mrc). Ref the drone, who knows, report back when done  Drilled discs were just probably...
