Yes the car was built in '95. in Septemeber with the letter corresponding to a '96 model year.

Does anyone have information on how many cars were produced in each model year. I have a 1996 model year number 381 and would like to find out how many came out of the factory that year.

I had a choice from my insurance from autoglass or Audi if I wished. I think there's a slight difference between an 80 and an RS 2 windscreen. I know Autoglass had trouble finding one, which is why I went to the dealers.
