These guys make all their money from aftersales. If they know what people want, then they can give their best prices, and they will be willing to haggle. I went to Stoke Audi yonks ago. They replaced the belts and tensioners, but not the thermostat which failed a little while after. This is not part...

RE: M3 vs S4.... Thoughts please.
I had an RS6 and am now consiering the S4 cabrio against an Alpina B3s which is a bit more civilised than the M3. Any comments that might help the choice gratefully received.

Hi - not my first post on the site but the first in the S4 section. I had an RS6 - sold it and now am looking for a spritely convertible as a second car. The S4 fits the bill. The other contender is the Alpina B3S but they all look at little leery despite performing well - I don;t have a shaven head...

RE: ABT for sale
I guess you are right - the 19" wheels leave little aspect to absorb bumps so its probably the same. The 20"s look good though.

20' wheels on an RS6? Your ass will turn to jelly after about 5 miles.

RE: SportsTech are Rubbish
I had this with them too. Ordered KW V3's before last Christmas and they took my money there and then promising them within a few days. It was then like the Monty Python Cheese shop sketch (look it up on Youtube if you're too young to know). Every freakin' reason under the sun as to why they hadn't ...

Doh! I replaced them with Pirelli's. The tyres you can have are Michelin Pilots. Probably ok for a couple of track days, depending how hard you work them.

RE: Spare Trackday Tyres Anyone?
I think they are Pirelli Free/No cost/Gratis. Seriously, I don't remember - the expensive ones which most people have on their RS6. If you want them, come and get them. The option is the dump, but I know what the 6 is like on tyres on tracks days so I thought someone might like them.

Spare Trackday Tyres Anyone?
My RS6 has been sold but I d have some 19" Pirellis which I was keeping for track days. They are just about road legal but I replaced them all before sale.
I don't want anything but I need them picked up. If ther's no takers then its to the dump for them. I'm in islington London.

Taffy - I agree; they seem first rate in their understanding. The standard settings were fine for me.

Just throw it away. A couple of days later, you'll notice something missing and go 'so that's where that bit went' and have to go and buy one from Audi. That's the way these things always work out. Its hidden away in the statute know as Sod's Law.

Make sure they are in stock first. They'll take your money and make you wait - not DT specifically, but the guys who sell these. Also try SportsTech for the settings

SportsTech got mine just before Christmas. Took a while though!
