Simon you are right in that it is a funny material to clean. Since I've not had mine that long I've not cleaned it that many times yet.

I hope there is something to help clean it perfectly. If the stains fail to come out I can feel a warranty claim coming on....................

A number of dead flies on the silver front grill surround have left some "staining" marks after washing which don't seem to want to come off. Anyone else had this problem and what can I use to remove the stains?

VIN position 10 denotes the year of production (with a "7" being 2007). As Glyn says you can get full details from the chassis number and I presume the program works out the build month from this using the last 6 digits which is the serial production number.

There has been a similar thread on other forms for various cars. My Mk4 R32 has an 18" VW/Audi space saver which I bought but I guess the RS4 has a different stud pattern? I'd prefer an 18" or 19" space saver if there is one.
