Got a stone chip on my windscreen yesterday evening and this morning have woken to a large crack that has developed overnight.
Car has HUD and matrix lights so will need a special screen and callibration etc.
Any advice before I give Aviva a call to arrange replacement?

That's the N205 valve. They are known tob a bit flaky on other VAG models, and is the same part mumber used. When my wife had a Mk5 Golf GTI a few years ago, was replaced a couple of times. I went for all component cover as that would then cover any items that may need to be replaced when fixing the faulty item. It covers for the knock on effect that could leave you with a large bill with only named component cover
