I see a part no. of 4F0 907 275 for these. When I do a search on that part no. I end up with suppliers offering 7PP 907 275. Are these interchangeable?
Thanks!

Guidance Please - Fitting a Replacement Fog Light Grille
Someone managed to rip my OSF fog light grille out in a supermarket car park. I found it lying by the car. Fortunately no other damage, however all the tabs had broken off so I picked up a replacement today. Is there a knack to fitting it I should be aware of? Inside/outside/top/bottom first etc. Or...

Re: Leaking Brake Caliper: Sanity Check
I'm at the dealership now and it's all fixed. It turned out to be a slightly internally corroded bleed nipple. That has been cleaned up on the wire wheel, replaced and the brake fluid changed in case of debris from the corrosion. The MOT is signed off without retest. To be on the safe side a replace...

Re: Leaking Brake Caliper: Sanity Check
Thanks all for the feedback. It's going back today for a more detailed examination of where/what the problem is. I'll decide the next steps based on that.

Leaking Brake Caliper: Sanity Check
Can I please use the board wisdom? My '07 RS4 failed its' MOT this morning with a leaking n/s/f front caliper. The dealership tells me that the part is north of £1000 and they can fit and retest tomorrow. My question is this: for a leaky caliper, are replacement seals/gaskets/whatever not a more cos...

Nogaro Pulled?
Or maybe Riviera. Passed at speed on the other carriageway so couldn't see clearly. Northbound M40 just before Junction 2 at 1705 tonight. I presume plod, flashing like a Christmas tree, hadn't pulled it over to just talk about the eye catching paint job! Anyone on here? Hopefully just a finger wagg...

The air vents and binnacle are different to mine (07 Saloon). Is this a Cabrio thing or did these change during the model's life?

Re: can you imagine the bill!
If the dealer passed a £10k labour bill to the insurance co then at 80% GP I am sure they have a big smile on their face I'm sure there was a profit, but not 80%. The £10.5k included the short block. And the first quote was over £12k which was LV='s cut off. They massaged the labour rate to bring i...

Re: can you imagine the bill!
Well she's back. Let's hope it is fourth time lucky! I think Audi Watford are loosing the will to live. They considered approaches to getting replacement exhaust boxes via a continuance of the claim, but I think gave up. In the end they took the cost themselves. £1500. Ouch! I think there are valuab...

Re: Front Center Arm Rest Query
I never use the handbrake bar hill starts/holds etc. Might be worth reading this http://www.iam-bristol.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=225&Itemid=1 especially this advice: you will usually apply the handbrake at traffic lights, on hills, waiting to turn right and always at a pedes...

Re: Service and MOT this week ... Gulp
Amongst all the other crap with my car at the moment, I had the MOT done by Audi. That comes with a g'tee that it will pass next year's MOT, or they will pay up to £750 for the parts that have failed the MOT. Cost is £49.

I wouldn't be without mine. I never use the handbrake bar hill starts/holds etc. so when I do, just flick it up out of the way. Simples!

Re: can you imagine the bill!
Hi Ollie, I don't need them replaced, just put back to working order. :D In the seized one there are cracks around the "collar" where the "axle" pushes through on the other. My quotes are due to my lack of understanding what I'm looking at when I was shown the car on the ramp earlier. Any idea where...
