The Irish import (VRT) costs keep the price of the UK cars down. estimated cost to import a 99 s4 to Ireland it would be ...

Has anyone had problems with crankshaft sensors ?? , the engine starts fine when its cold and when its at full running temp(90) but whe...

RE: engine wont restart when warm ?? sensor fault?
The engine turns over ok - it just doesnt fire up - thats why i thought it was a electrical fault stopping fuel flow to the engine until it cooled down again.

RE: engine wont restart when warm ?? sensor fault?
Dash lights and displays come on as normal and no faults are displayed.
Its only when i turn the engine off after is been running for a while and then try to restart it sometimes wont fire up until it has cooled down. The engine hasnt cut out as a result of the fault .

Im thinking it must be a temperaturer sensor fault making the computer think the engine is too hot...

Is the difference really notiocable ? or worth it ?as i believe it costs about £500 They say it brings the BHp to over 300 but is that not only the case if your engine hasnt lost any hp over time. Mine has doe 112000 miles so does anyone know what bhp ...

P6000's yea a super tyre - They give no grip , equally as bad in the wet as they are in the dry - cant believe they are still for sale. At a glance they looked like there was plenty of tread left on the front offside tyre , unfortunately upon closer inspection the middle tread was worn to 1.2mm and ...

RE: rust in fuel filler cap ??
Yea - it was the threaded section I was referring to. the rust is more of a powder than anything serious - just a bit annoying when i see it on the filler cap every time i fill up. nobody else has this issue withtheir cars ? i recon a wipe now and again with an oily rag should keep it clean and dry ...

rust in fuel filler cap ??
The steel insert that holds the plastic fuel filler cap is rusted and seems to be getting worse. im thinking the rust will make it way into the fuel and start clogging fiters etc. Is this rust a common problem ? and any ideas how to get rid of it? dont want to paint it unless its the only solution. ...
