Re: ever feel complacent?
What's the point in looking at a car! If you enjoy driving it, do it as often as possible. Life can be very short and if you have done 150,000 miles in it then you have had a 150,000 smiles. Surely that is worth a little depreciation. The biggest regret I have is I did not do enough miles before I s...

Re: Anyone running a 335d 535d or mk7 golf gtd ?
I changed to a RRS. SdV6 it was a forced change but not an unpleasant one. Do I miss the RS4 you bet I do, but not my passengers they prefer the comfort and my changed driving style. It was a sad day when blue thunder went a brilliant car image.jpg But the dark knight is very practicable can tow and...

Re: PROBLEMATIC RS4!
Agree with all the above. I had this issue when I first disconnected exhaust valves and did not make sure they were sealed properly. You lose vacuum and the manifold flaps do not operate correctly and you get a stutter/misfire at about those revs. I have sold mine but there is a wealth of valuable i...

Re: Respect the B7
I do miss my RS4 and so do my neighbours as they now need an alarm clock to wake them up instead of blue thunder. The dark knight only emits diesel fumes :boohoo: but having said that my journey times are no different and it is comfortable and the audio plays really good V8 sounds :biggrin3: image.j...

I would see how much it cost to repair before you claim because although you have protected no claims discount it does not stop them from increasing your premium by a huge amount and then applying your discount.

Arthur you know that you never buy a car with your head only your heart and cars never make financial sense. The problem is that we married with our hearts where as we should have made sure it made financial sense. Oh it's valentines day Jay go and buy her a bunch of Red Roses with a note telling he...

Re: Bloody OAP drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well been a quick success i think.. car is getting picked up today and taken to Glasgow Audi bodyshop and im getting a Range Rover Sport courtesy car :jump_clap: Don't take the Sport name as in sport. Remember they are big cars and the brakes are not going to stop it as quickly as a RS4 infact they...

That is why having a medical would help because it would be the doctor who made the decision. You would then not be blamed for taking their freedom away from them.PaulRS4 wrote:Result for the op.
Harder to deal with if it's one of your parents who shouldn't be in the road.

Re: Bloody OAP drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think everyone should have a medical every 5 years. This would get rid of people who can not see and do not have enough body flexibility to turn their heads. Retests should be applied across the board for anyone convicted of dangerous or drunk driving. Having a HGV licence means we have to do a dr...

Re: whats my car worth?
Like most things in this world it is what people will pay for it not what it's worth. There are people who have sold their cars for more or less what they wanted and others have been raped on the price.
