I've searched the web but I don't see much in the way of issues to look out for, which i suppose is a good thing..

Can't afford a B7, but i think a B6 is fantastic value for money at less than 20k. MPG not really an issue as this will be a second car.

Impending fatherhood means the lotus has to go - i'm looking to replace it with something more practical. I'm looking at buying an S4 avant. What should I look out for? I've done a search on this forum and not found anything other than rattly startup from cold could indicate problems... Anything els...
