I'm sticking with contis as i only need 2 and i dont want to run with 2 different brands of tyre on the car,i would rather keep everything the same.Also the fact that i can get the 5P R01 tyre in 20 inch for the same price as the discontinued sport contact 3.Once i have worn all these out i will go ...

I still think its far safer just to remove the problem alltogether,which is what i am going to do.Unless knobbly actually serves a purpose??

My 2%. R01s should always be fitted if using Conti's, don't let anyone tell you any different, otherwise you'll shred the inside wall on the infamous "knobbly bit" (technical term). There are many post on here but you've probably already found them. That is the exact reason i need to replace 2 of m...

The tyre cmpany has since phoned me back and told me that the sport contact 3 are discontinued and can only get the SP5 R01 Audi fitment ones but better still they can do them at £237 fitted each so being Audi fitment i would assume that they will be absolutely fine

I dont have any pics yet other than one that someone took at ADI on saturday.They have gone from the standard colour to a dark anthracite (wanted titan grey but they didnt have it) but it really suits the car and i am really chuffed with them.I will find the pic and post it just for you Dave :) foun...

ive just had my C6 wheels refurbed and colour change due to bit of a mishap with a curb.I now have to get a taxi to the kerb whenever i park now :)

make sure you get a good warranty with it Eddie,M5s are more of a money pit than an RS6 :) especially when the twin vanos packs up

good luck with it though (i fancied one of those but could never afford it)
