Re: Door trims
If you posted this on the s2forum you'll probably get a huge interest. There was a guy doing moulds but didn't ever get to completion, about 100 folks expressed interest, price was about 300EUR for the set I think. I am in the process of re-furbishing the rubbers on mine after cleaning out the rotte...

Re: RS2 Parts Diagram needed
Thats a bit gutting, after 3 years of it rotting on the drive I started putting my RS2 front end together, gutted to see the site gone when I need to jog my memory of where everything goes.
The 7zap link looks good though, front struts and steering rack re-fitted, on to the rear...

Re: rs2 engined UR Quattro by Quattro Coachworks
Ah I thought there was a progress update on this!
Yes, my brother does by the name of "Sonic", once upon a time he had a hair style that had a distinctive style and earned him the nick name. He doesn't have enough hair to pull off any 'style' now...

Re: rs2 engined UR Quattro by Quattro Coachworks
Sounds like a very similar spec to my brothers S2 Coupe which is up at quattro coachwork right now, albeit with circa 450hp K26/7 hybrid. That is rapid so a 300kg lighter chassis with another 50hp should be epic
It's good to hear good feedback, my RS2 should be up there pretty soon as well.

Re: TRANS fluid leak
You said the fluid is dripping from the bottom of the radiator - be aware that the gearbox oil goes into a union at the bottom of the radiator, out of a union at the top of the radiator, and then into a union on the oil cooler. It should be pretty clear if you get the tray off and get underneath - I...

Re: 19" BBS CH (8.5" 5x112 ET35) + spacers £495
Hi, The spacers are 10mm so effectively ET25; worth mentioning that the spacers and the wheels go together as the hub is 57.1mm on the spacer but larger on the wheel. The hub ring on the spacers matches the wheel. I will also supply the longer bolts. OEM on the C5 RS6 is ET35 so they sat 10mm furthe...

Re: 19" BBS CH (8.5" 5x112 ET35) + spacers £495
Just to add these are 2 of the wheels, just realised I don't have pics of the other 2 that are in similar condition but without any kerb rash. Will get a pic of the full set up on the weekend. This is a set of 4.

19" BBS CH (8.5" 5x112 ET35) + spacers £425
These were removed from my C5 RS6 prior to sale. The tyres fitted should not be used - tread is on the wear indicators and one lost a chunk out of the inner edge and would probably fail pretty quickly on the road. So please consider it wheels and spacers only. Condition is reasonable, one was kerbed...

Re: Radiator change
I had to change my radiator before the car was sold (ok, offloaded due to a 335d purchase - where do I hide) It cost about £250 for a rad from some place I'd never heard of before... turned up, genuine, an absolute ball ache to change on the drive but no other parts required. I had to replace mine a...

Re: Idiots guide to batteries/Alternators
+1 for the 200A fuse. It's in a plastic junction box underneath the expansion tank. Mine was corroded badly causing voltage fluctuation, intermittent non-starting and eventually smoke from melting plastic! I've recently replaced the alternator (1.5hrs DIY - dealer quotes 5.5hrs) and the battery too,...

Re: Natural Leather
I have the same with the natural leather - also using gliptone - it cleans up nicely but easily gets marked, although the marks do clean out nicely. Even kids scuffing it! I think it's just part of the 'natural leather' look - like faded jeans... it's lovely and soft and I'll miss it when I change c...

Re: Bank Holiday Monday...it was going so well...
If it's any consolation, I had a similar experience in my RS2 and watched it roll away on the back of a very similar looking flatbed... a loose bolt found it's way onto the crank pulley at WOT just as it was hitting peak torque. Power just dropped off a cliff, boost dropped to near enough zero and i...
