Only way of checking your speedo' accuracy is with certified stop watch using formula - speed = distance / time, or with GPS which is fairly accurate. For example - measured half mile - 60secs time = 30mph. same distance, 30 secs time = 60 mph. 15 secs time = 120 mph etc etc etc I could, if you wish...

RE: SOME PICS FOR YOU .

Grizz, is that the final ride height you have settled on? Having read the report on the PS99's in the posted Audi driver article, I recall that the guy who did the conversion, recomends leaving final setting for a week or so after to allow for "settling" of the dampers / springs. Have to say it look...

RE: water leak in cabin

You could always go the whole hog and have a nice white pebbledashed exterior, wrought iron gates and a tarmac drive and then park the 6 next to your silver landcruiser, he he he.

Hmm, seems to me that it might be best to arrange some sort of "deal" with the warranty company re them recinding any cover of the DRC.

Bin the DRC and go with a Bilstein coil over set up, thats what I intend to do - i'll only have to worry about the Gearbox and Turbo's then :o

Having read the comments so far, it beggars belief that Audi haven't acknowledged the DRC problem and introduced better dealer "education programme" or a permanent fix to the problem, which is a safety critical item and should not be overlooked. I wonder what would happen if there were fatalities di...

Looks to me like the vehicle lost control and was travelling sideways and forwards into the tree with "the bandage". Vehicle appears to have hit (our) O/S front corner as first point of impact and force continues diaganolly(ish) through to N/S rear (our). Amazing the driver walked away, would have b...

RE: Re: RE: rs6 plus breaking maybe

After initially looking at the posted images of the Plus, I thought it may be worth buying and repairing. I was thinking along the lines of replacement front wings, bumper and bonnet, plus airbag modules. However, on closer examination of the O/S view, the drivers door seems out of alignment, which ...

Too far south for my operating area, but there isn't much you can do about camera vans, other than make sure your GPS device has updated sites of mobile and static enforcement sites to warn you you are entering a "collision hotspot" area. If you get a pull by a traffic cop and show a little humblene...

North West Service Center Recomendation

The time has nearly come for me to choose an RS6 (Avant) from the wide selection available  within the dealer network. I am looking to travel anywhere in the country to buy the right car, but as I reside in the North West, I wonder if there are any of you out there who have had experience of t...

B9boy not doubting your account at all. The insurers have a combined database, which the police have access to, basically, if you have a reg plate, they can tell who is insured to drive that vehicle, what the policy number is and the dates it is valid from. As far as I am aware the insurance compani...

There are a few things you can do here; Firstly, if the person has given false details, they have committed an offence - attempt to perevert the course of justice. Anyone involved in a Road Traffic Accident HAS to exchange the correct name, address, name of owner of vehicle and name of insurer if th...

Hi to all, been on here a while without registering as I have been waiting till I got a 6 before I joined the exclusive "club".
