Re: RS6 Ceramic Breaks ??

Had ceramics for the past 100K miles - absolutely love them! Amazing stopping power and virtually no wear (they've done over 150K miles now). :boots: The only thing to be aware of is that they do suffer for a split second when cold and wet - eg cruising on a wet motorway. They clear (and warm up ver...

Re: Intermittent fault on dash

Oddly I had exactly the same happen to me on Monday. Drove about 120 miles and stopped for coffee break. Came back to car and exactly the same fault came up. Got out of car, locked and unlocked, and car re-started fine (no fault) though the little tell-tale was still on showing there had been a faul...

Re: C7 RS6: Will it fit in my garage?

Just did a quick measure in my garage. Between my two cars there is 600mm which is just about OK for getting in and out - any less and it's a tight squeeze. The car O/A is about 1.9m and I have about 200mm clear to the column on the pax side. So in my garage, parked reasonably tight to the pax side ...

Re: C7 RS6: Will it fit in my garage?

My garage is 5m square (external). I had to knock a hole through to get sufficient length. I park the Beast and a Focus ST in there and it's very tight - both cars need to be tight against their respective walls. It leaves me about 60-70cm to get the door open and that's quite tight for someone my s...

Re: Car Stolen

Sounds like it was opportunist rather than planned if you were at a temporary address, in which case it has either been stolen for a joy ride, or for a local crime. What reports have the police got on ANPR? They can search on model and colour as well as number plate. I had the same thing happen in 1...

Re: 2016 RS6 on H&R Springs

Check that DRC is properly charged and working. If the car is "bouncy" it means that there is insufficient damping, not that the springs are too soft.

Got two from Camskill over Christmas - always reliable as a supplier. :beerchug:

Re: Anyone got a wheel to spare?

Happy New Year to all :bigwave: OK - I eventually got a spare wheel, and two new tyres and got them fitted (long saga, mostly my fault!!) However in the process TPMS has decided not to work! Three of the wheels are the same but in different locations, one is the new wheel and I will admit I didn't c...

Re: Anyone got a wheel to spare?

Thanks Saudirick - lots of sets, but not many single wheels in 21" size :-(

Still hoping someone on here has got one lurking at the back of their garage somewhere....

Anyone got a wheel to spare?

Hi - has anyone got one (or possibly two) spare standard 21" wheels knocking about they are willing to part with??

I have the eternal cracking problem, and whilst it has been repaired once, it's starting to go again :-(

PM if you have

Thanks, Dave

Since the DRC circuits are diagonal across the car I fail to see how you think "it's only the front"!! :drink: :drink: :bigwave:

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

Also - did they need to do an oil service as part of this work? Mine was about due for one so I asked for them to do that while they had it - for which they have charged me £283! Mine was done as part of the recall. The service rep had to check first and nearly charged me, but then realised the err...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7

Had mine done yesterday by Farnborough Audi. All seems fine and it was complete within the day. They included their standard inspection which threw up nothing of note. Was interested to see that my Ceramic brake pads are now 30% worn front, and 40% rear - bearing in mind that's over 126K miles the e...
