Re: Site Outage, Abuse, and Mitigation Plans
Hi Phil, first of all well done on getting it back on line - I'm sure we're all glad you're back :jump: With regard to subscription etc, I think it's worth consideringthe audience. The strength of this community is the depth of experience of the community and the (generally) helpful support and answ...

Re: 2014 RS6 Purchase Advice Request
Hi Marcin - welcome to the fold! I had two C5's before I got my C7 and there is a world of difference (improvement) IMHO. Mine is a daily runner and has done over 180K miles - it's a 2014 model like yours. Not really had many problems (mine is looked after mainly by MRC Tuning) though the fact is th...

Re: C7 or C8
Looks good - nice spec - the only thing I'd consider is putting Creamic Brakes on when the current discs/pad are worn out
Have lots of fun - Oh, and a trip to MRC would mean even more fun
happy New Year!

Re: C7 or C8
Happy Christmas - and welcome back!!
IMHO the best 6's have been the odd numbered ones (C5 and C7). C6 didn't cut it for me, and C8 is simply too big!!
Whatever you get, enjoy it for many years to come

Re: Are we still have active c7 rs6 owners?
The nature of posts on any of the forums here cahnges over time. They start out being posts from the rich few who can afford the new models with plenty of "discovereies of things to like/dislike. :kissmyrings: Then after about 3 years the tone changes as the second hand models are about 50% of the n...

Re: C7 RS6 Towing advice
Do you have Air suspension or are you on DRC (Performace Pack) - if the latter then tow-bar can't be fitted.

Re: Flashing engine warning light?
Quick update to close this out. Car in this week, front end off, PCV replaced and water pump done at same time as the front was off. Also full service incl new plugs. Back on the Dyno for a tweak and sure enough, there were all 700 horses back in the stable! :jump_clap: :jump: :boots: :rocker: That ...

Re: Coolant leak under my 2016 RS6 with only 60'000km
Thanks - useful update
My front end is coming off shortly to replace the PCV and MRC had already said they'd replace the coolant pump as a precaution - but then mine has done 175K miles!
Cheers

Re: RS6 Ceramic Breaks ??
Hi all - I'm now up to 175K miles (280K Kms) and still as good as new - maybe I should try harder when stopping!! Honestly I wouldn't go back to the old steel brakes etc if you paid me - ceramics are just "fit and forget". :boots: And yes there can be noise at relatively light breaking and low speed...

Re: Flashing engine warning light?
OK - second day at MRC. LP fuel pump duly changed out and car onto Dyno. First observaton was that my map was an early one so Doug did a full update and also on the box. After a lot of tweaking we found that we were still 50 or so HP short, and we get quite a lot of oil smoke at WOT, and have conclu...
