New model.....

I am sure we are all enjoying the current cars, but when is the new one due?

Being told late 2018, early 2019.....is this correct?

Cheers

Re: S8 BHP

Saw some test S8s last week, along with the new Q8.

Love the full width led brake lights.

Biggest, excuse the pun, thing you will see is the gigantic size these new cars are!

Re: RS6 C7 to NEW M5?

Have seen the new M5 testing at the Nurburgring. If the sound is anything to go by, you will be keeping the C7!

Re: How long are CCB expected to last?

Well it has been 3 years plus now that these cars were launched and sold to the public.

Has anyone had any discs or pads replaced as yet?

Any problems or issues to report?

Cheers

I took your advice and finally bought some FE 20" wheels, so now with the whole family and some sand in the boot, it looks dropped......

Re: How long are CCB expected to last?

Its interesting that the 2nd most expensive car in Audi's range is being discussed here, yet not a lot of owners really know when these so called 'life of vehicle' brakes should really last for. The official line is that they will last 4 time longer than steel discs, which are rated at 6250 miles or...

Re: How long are CCB expected to last?

I know many Porsche drivers that take CCB off and put steele on from delivery. I am not sure this would be an option on the C7? Even so, why would you do that when you paid £12,500 for the priveledge to have them in the first place? You wouldn't do just to look after the car for the next owner surel...

Do they quote a distance for the discs to last?

Seriously?

How long are CCB expected to last?

To the educated in the above here, I need some help. If you have been told by the dealer, hearsay or even actual experience, would you tell me your thoughts and knowledge of what distance you think or know that ceramic carbon brakes last. I'm very interested to hear the thoughts of all. Whether on A...

Re: Lowering and / or spacers

As for the failed spacers from Eibach.

I can confirm that the problem has been visited by Eibach in Germany and that they will be doing what they can to ensure these are dealt with as a manufacturer should.

Replacements have been offered and the issue is now closed.

Re: Help All 4 wheels buckled

Sounds like the problems with the RS4 B5 from the past.

I had 2 wheels replaced by the dealer on the C7.

Re: Lowering and / or spacers

The only circumstance I can think of where a reputable manufacturer declines support is if the parts were counterfeit. Not long back, there were a spate of brake discs with Brembo markings doing the rounds in Ferrari and Maserati circles that were very clearly not original. Counterfeit wheels and b...
