Perhaps this can help with your decision. Both attachments show stock and what's possible with chipping concerning HP, torque, and fuel consumption. I've used Digital Tuning on my Porsche's with great results and plan to do this to my B7 after it's broken in.

Milltek Exhaust fitting - wait for break in first?
Hi everyone, I'm due to pick up my RS4 Avant this friday. I'm totally excited and can't wait! It's been a long time coming. I spoke with a mechanic and he highly suggest waiting at least 4000 Km before changing the exhaust. He claims the car needs to adjust to my style of driving and break in prior ...

RE: Retro-fitting ceramic brakes
I checked into this prior to ordering my car and they told me it would be about 14,000 CHF (Swiss francs) to retrofit. I decided to just order the car with them as it was a 9,500 CHF option to do it at the factory. After having PCCB's on my Porsche I couldn't imagine not having the ceramics. However...

Totally agree on the break in! Going to follow this method below. Credits to RI RS4 from audiworld forums: But it is an aggressive break-in, and if the motor breaks, it's still under warranty. Which can't be said for the MotoMan method. ------------------------------------------------- Manual page 2...

Are you using the dealer supplied oil? Or Motul or something else? Trying to decide that right now.LegalEagle wrote:I did exactly this. Engine is wonderful as a result.

Yeah, probably could have done that, but doubt it would have saved me any money. Besides, the Autobahn is only a few hours away anyway!
Going to drive to Hanover for Cebit in March which should be a load of fun.

RE: Pick it up Friday!!!
Will do. I'll post a full report on the exhaust and oil. I know quite a few people are also interested in the Milltek as well. It seems the issue we all face with these RS4's is fuel/oil dilution from what I've been reading. I'm going to do a rather aggressive break in, while staying within the guid...

Pick it up Friday!!!
My long wait has almost ended! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas and it has been agonizing. Ordered on November 17th. Got the call today that it is en route via train from Germany to Switzerland now, and delivery on Friday to me is probable. Apparently the PDI will take place in the Swiss Germ...

My bluetooth will be installed in the middle arm rest. Already told them I hate the cradle and told them to make sure it isn't there. They told me if they specify the bluetooth kit to be in the middle arm rest the cradle will not be there. I still don't understand why you need a damn cradle anyway, ...

I just got off the phone with my dealer and he told me "don't worry, we've confirmed with the factory that your car with include the RS Steering Wheel and the bluetooth option. You won't be able to answer calls with the wheel, but this is only a convenience of the multifunction wheel." I'm still ner...

RE: Discounts on RS4......
8%, but it wasn't easy. I went to 4 Audi dealers and the best they would do was 3-4%. I found a garage that specializes in Bentley (ironic I know), but with a former fleet manager for Audi. He hooked me up with 8%. Seems strange to pickup my new Audi from a Bentley dealer but worth it!

Hey guys, Do you know if this is the same case with LHD RS4 Avant's? I will take delivery of mine in 2 weeks or less. I ordered the Bluetooth kit installed in the headrest, but INSISTED that I get the RS Steering wheel and they told me no problem and even specified it in the notes on the contract. I...
