Re: Car Insurance Shock !!!!

Hmm... I think I'll keep quiet about my recent renewal for 327 then. Doh! ;) Worth playing with things such as excess, annual mileages and stuff. Remember cheaper to park on drive than garage (in most 'safe' areas). i would add to that list to remember to depreciate the car's value each year - insu...

Another de-coked RS4 (SW London)

My car has now done a mere 21k miles after 5 years in my ownership but does a fair bit of London driving so suspected a de-coke would do it good. Had considered AmD but Essex is a bit of a ball ache for me to get to from SW London, and I don't use the car to get to work during the week. After a reco...

Re: My Sprint Blue B7 RS4 thread

Thought I would add some bling to the very black interior. Ordered these aluminium rings from Aluringe24 on German ebay. They come with a 'milled' finish so I used a green scourer to give a brushed effect. Link to B7 bits http://stores.ebay.de/aluringe24/Audi-/_i.html?_nkw=a4+b7&_sop=1&_fsub=644250...

Re: Going to AmD for de-coking, should I...

I am thinking of getting a de-coke and possibly a milltek if the price is right. Has anyone used AmD at Woking rather than Essex? It is much more convenient for me but wondering if all the expertise is out East! Also my car already has an APS remap on it, is there much point in getting another remap...

Ampire DVBT400-3G digital TV tuner

I had one of these fitted by vwcruise / hazzy dayz and its been an utter waste of money - shocking software and I rarely get a signal (SW London). Don't think fitters are to blame and the BT and ipod cable they fitted have been fine. I have downloaded a later software version in a vague attempt to g...

Re: Carbon clean, remap and 100 cell cats

scrap that - just read the link

The price for the decoke on the 4.2 V8 engines is £499.95inc vat with before and after rolling road runs.

so £500 without remap - very reasonable so will be giving them a call

Re: Carbon clean, remap and 100 cell cats

I see £500 inc vat for a remap incl RR before and after

Says nothing about a carbon clean - where are people seeing this?

I want a clean with RR plots but not interested in remap, would be good if there is a Southern alternative to MRC

Re: Bluetooth / Digi TV / Ipod Interface

I used vwcruise to fit OEM BT, a digi tv and an ipod cable (simple cable running into aux)

the BT and cbale work fun

the digi tv is utter crap to use and reception is <beep>
